ModiBot currently uses a Flat Rate structure for shipping via US Post Office First Class Mail.

US- $4 for basic orders, $20 for heavier order over 16 oz.

For Canada, UK, France- $15 for basic orders, $30 for heavier orders over 13 oz.

For all other countries- $20 for basic orders, $35 for heavier orders over 13 oz.

ModiBot does NOT collect VAT, duties, or taxes on international sales. Unfortunately, these costs may be substantial and required by governments or customs agencies upon the delivery or pick-up of your shipment. Please consider before placing international orders.

Domestic shipments

ModiBot ships orders via US POST First Class Mail, so most orders within the US are delivered within a week of purchase. COVID 19 has made the timing a bit less consistent and the Holiday Season definitely adds more time for shipments. *For Holiday gift orders, it is best to place an order before December 15th.

International shipments

ModiBot ships orders via US POST First Class Mail, so most orders outside the US vary greatly in duration.

Unfortunately, many orders seem to get stuck in customs for a substantial amount of time. Please consider extended delivery timelines, as well as, additional costs for duties and/or taxes when ordering.

For Canada, orders are usually delivered around 5-10 days.

For much of Europe, delivery can take 2-4 weeks or more.

For the rest of the world, COVID 19 has made the timing very inconsistent. 

*For International Holiday gift orders, it is best to place an order before November 15th.

For International shipments- If you are having issues with your delivery, please try to resolve the issue with your local or regional post office. If the item is returned to ModiBot, we will refund you for the cost of the products, but not the lost shipping costs.

ModiBot products can be difficult to assemble and require good hand dexterity for posing and sometimes tools for customizing.

We recommend ModiBot products for ages 13+

The ModiBot Mo figure is 5 inches tall, but can increase in size up to nearly 6 inches when customized with alternate body part kits.

The ModiBot Moli (female) figure is built using the Mo figure parts, so she is just under 5 inches tall.

The ModiBot Myke figure is 3 inches tall.

In general, nearly all ModiBot products are 3d printed.

The main exceptions are the ModiBot Mo figure and the Venture accessory kit, which are manufactured using injection molding like traditional consumer products.

Most ModiBot products and accessories are made using a process called selective laser sintering (SLS) where a laser fuses layers of nylon powder into the various shapes you see.

This material feels a little grainy to the touch, but produces strong parts and better ball joints than other 3d printing processes. Laser sintering employs large industrial printers and was created specifically for commercial products.

Some items like the Magnetic soles are produced on-demand at ModiBot HQ using desktop, filament-based (FFF) printing.

Absolutely! ModiBot was created using 3d printing and its still an important way to make some items available for users.

You can find models available under our profiles on Thingiverse and Tinkercad. These sites may require an account to view and/or download the files.
